This article from the British magazine Military Modelling covers the abortive British attack on the Spanish colony of Rio de la Plata (now Buenos Aires in Argentina), in 1806-07. I have attached another article on the same subject: "Colonial Forces in the British Invasion of Argentina 1806-07," by Philip J. Haythornthwaite. I don't know where this second article came from exactly, but I believe it is from Model Soldier, circa 1990.
