This book provides very good general descriptions of every type of military vehicle imaginable: tanks, self-propelled artillery, armored cars, personnel carriers, engineering vehicles, tractors and prime movers, cargo trucks, weapons carriers, motorcycles, amphibious and landing vehicles, and tank transporters. It was published in 1980 so it's a bit out of date now as far as modern equipments go. The vehicles covered are from around 1917 to the late1970s. Each vehicle description is a accompanied by a brief tabulation of dimensions, weights, armament, and performance characteristics.
