I am grateful for the generous support of many people over the years - and first. to the ALSE techs who issued and maintained my flight gear in Vietnam and since; they are a professional little crew of unsung heroes, and I would like to thank them all. I would like to salute specifically two of the ALSE congregation: gt.Debbie Gifford and Sgt.Steven Robertson from Company G, 140th Aviation Regiment (Delta Schooners); they not only issue and maintain the gear for their extremely active National Guard unit, they are regular crew members on my beloved old CH-47 Chinooks - still flying after thirty years of service.
